jour férié
10 am. wake up
11 am. make my way to the uni for my ONLY full day studying (that whole working 40 hours thing)
11.15 arrive at university- hmm... i don't see any cars... or people.
11.16 realization that the university is CLOSED.
11.17 realization that it is a half-ass jour férié, or bank holiday, if you will- some stores are open, but french administration can't be bothered to work
11.18 realization that the LIBRARY is also closed (i mean, who needs to study during FINALS really??)
11.19 realization that NOTHING is open that resembles a study area, and that I have to work at home ( i generally don't get very far with the work at home thing)
9 pm. make my way to the university hospital to study, where medicine students have designated rooms where they study late at night. have the fear of getting kicked out for not being a medical student. all goes well, get home at 3 am.
