my 9 am vodka

so i was walking to school the other day with my big ol' starbucks to-go mug, when i walk past this cute old man. he says to me, after looking at what i thought was my mug, "Vous avez raison!" (this meaning something to the effect of 'Good idea'). so i, being used to people giving me strange looks because of my obnoxious american to-go mug that NOONE in france feels is a necessity at 9 in the am, respond with, "It's not alcohol!" (bc ppl usually think it is, and of course i quickly realize that my cute old french man is none other than a drunk). he laughs and says, "no, i meant your gloves!" en effet, j'étais en train de mettres mes gants.. :)
