This calls for a blog

So last night i attended my first protest of the year, this one being against the newly elected French president, Nicolas Sarkozy. Aka, "Sarko". So I suppose i understand the plight of the French youth- he is a bit frightening in that his politics are a bit fascist, but what i don't understand is what they think protesting will change. 53% of their population elected him. So anyway, then today, what do i hear out my window? yes, protesters! i thought i was having CPE flashbacks but no, it was another one and very real. :) and not just one group of protesters, but two, going in different directions. i still hear shouting, but as im pretty sure it ended 1/2 an hour ago, i guess that means im doomed to hear imaginary protests in my head for the next month or so...
